I agree with Verbena, You don't need anything bigger than the necessary... Especially if are trying to get her potty trained. Once trained. I think that you can go with whatever size you please.. That's what I am choosing to do. Bc Verbena is right. If it is bigger than that. Your new pup will not have boundaries and go in the crate. If it is known to be their "HOME" they will refuse to go to the bathroom in it. Hope that helps.
