OMG that happened to me too i first got my yorkie duque and then Emmy and they did not get along the first week until I started this thing with them where I would hug Emmy and he would look at us and then I would hug him but switch up until I was able to hug them both and whenever he would growl at her I would strictly tell him No! And make him see that that was not right for him to do and then I would hug Emmy little by little they started getting along then they started sitting in my lap at the same time and now well you should see them they are inseparable they love each other a lot and play and run around but here's the thing a few months later I got my boston terrier Frankie and they both hated him and the same thing they didn't want to play with him and they would snap at him.sometimes it's right for them to snap at him when he is bothering them because he learned not to bother others when they don't want to play but I applied the same technique and the same results I got. Now I take them together to daycare and they are always looking after eachother and they play and run and sleep together. So try that out and tell me if it work it takes a while maybe like 2 weeks or so but do not let any aggressiveness get away. Catch them it they are being aggressive because if you don't they are going to think that's the right way to keep the puppy away from them. But really your trying to make them be together. Also let the puppy mature a little. Sometimes they are not used to playful puppies jumping around them.
Good luck and tell me how it goes. |
