Yes, they can mess up digestion...ESPECIALLY in these small, delicate breeds. I would also stay away from greenies and anything of that nature. Digestive issues and BLOCKAGES can and have happened with such items.
Also, just in case you weren't aware, never give rawhide products either...even to big dogs. They really should not even be allowed to be sold. sigh |
Thanks so much for the info. Everything is looking much better today. I don't think I will give her those anymore. I only got them in the first place because she was chewing so much on the non-edible Nylabone that she was taking chunks out of it. I threw that one away and got the others. She is such a big chewer and I'm at a loss as to what to do. I already have a couple of Kong bones that she chews on. Is there anything else I could get for her?
