My boys are pad and outdoor trained. They know their pad is in their house, but not other houses or public places. But they usually stay right at my side when we visit other houses, so that might be a big part of it.
The only suggestions I can think of are limiting freedom and supervising very closely when visiting. Also teaching keywords as SophieKatesMom suggested and making sure she potties before entering the house.
