Here in Southern California we have very strict leash laws, so you cannot let your dog off leash, unless it is a designated dog park for off leash use. The dog park near my house at the beach is strictly on leash only, where as we have another dog park near us that is off leash, that one though has two separate areas, one fenced for large dogs, and another fenced for small dogs. That is the one I will take gizmo to once he's had all his shots, and I want to let him run without his leash. I did buy a 15 ft retractable leash to use at the leash park near my house at the beach though. I also want to take him to our dog beach we have about a 15 min ride from here, because its the only beach dogs are allowed on here. |
