Google is amazing.
Typing on computers with auto-spellcheck has ruined my ability to spell. Spellcheck corrects my typing, so I'm not thinking or recalling things anymore.
The other strange thing -- I had a couple of British and Canadian teachers in grade school who taught us their way of spelling many words. Lately I have been using a lot of their spellings.
