 What to do?
Ever since I had zoey I could always hear this weird type of breathing(exhaling?) it would be when shes climbing or struggling to get to something i asked one of the vets i went to they said it was nothing like a puppy thing...now shes about 5 months old and she still does it so i took her to the vet this past thurs the dr said he does here it slightly and it may be either extra tissue? or a chronic respiratory infection? or something else ... shes never had anything before so i dont understand how it could be chronic he said theres no way of really knowing unless i do an xray? So he gave me two options and he said i can either giver her antibiotics or do an xray? i didnt decide yet i said i would do more research but have no clue which to do? Also i asked him about her soft spot that she has and said an xray isnt going to help only an MRI would and theres only two places that he knows of that does MRIs around here and one of them is about 30 mins from me....so i have to form a plan of what i should do...first i want to check out her breathing issue and i also want to check out her soft spot to see if there would be any signs of hydrocephalus... i just dont know if i should try the antibiotics first or the xray (i mean shes never been sick before) |
