I'm back with an update

. I went to visit Pat yesterday and he was alert and watching TV. I immediately noticed he had padded mitts on both hands and then I saw why....Pat lifted his right hand and scratched his nose!!! Yes, his right arm/hand and leg are now moving!!! He was able to lift both for me, although not as high and is weaker than the left side, but it's wonderful progress. Oh, the mitts are o I less so done is with him, because he unhooked everything even his seatbelt for the chair, he says he was to get up. I know it's harder for the staff but it's exciting news for Pat and his progress.
Unless there is a change, Pat will be moved over to the UVA Hospital on Tuesday and the bone will be put back in on Wednesday. I'm so nervous, but so excited for Pat and his recovery can continue to move forward and provide mobility for him with the bone back in place.
Continued prayers needed for his upcoming surgery. Thank you all for being with us through this journey.
Oh, I toured the Univ of MD TBI on Friday, not a place for us. We are now looking at the TI program at INOVA in Alexandria, VA. Praying they will accept Pat I to the program after his surgery
