I would start with examining, touching her mouth and teeth, and get a baby toothbrush and then do a mock kind of brushing. Always gentle and happy interaction with mouth, paws, nails, ears, well basically everywhere on your gals body.
If by aunt flo, you mean her heat, anytime after 6months old you need to watch for the signs of heat.
