Make sure the groomer knows exactly what you want/don't want done. I take Gina every two weeks to get a trim, ears, feet, channel, face, and nail grind. Make sure to tell the groomer if your puppy still has dew claws, so they can trim them as well. I wash her at least once in between trims. Once her adult coat comes in, I plan on taking her for her normal trims, then once a month for a full "all dolled up" session, that's what we used to say to Megan, she would get excited and run to the door, Megan loved her groomer when we lived in Greensboro NC.
