There is so much going on on that show that you really need to just watch it. A lot of drama...adultery, deception, major health issues, homosexuality, suicide attempts, the good and bad child, marriage of false pretense, drug abuse, to name a little of the drama. I know your students don't know that you refer to them that way.
Set your recorder so that you can see the episodes in order.
