Lila, I can imagine how scary this was for you. If Betty Boop was reacting to lingering fumes from the stain, I would think that her reaction would last longer than a couple minutes.
I'm glad you took her to vet right away and that she checked out perfectly. Praying for her that the episode was an unexplained anomaly that won't happen again.
Any possibility she was stung or bitten by something?
