I don't have an answer regarding the marking but welcome to YT! My pup barks when I crate him.at night for about 30 mins so I'd say this is normal. You just have to keep it up and eventually he'll get used to it
can't wait to see pics he sounds like a cutie! Did he take after his mom or dad?
