I just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly... The breeder is giving you back the money without having the pup returned?
Also, I don't know if Leah took your partner to be the alpha over you b/c she's more masculine. Again, using Zoey as my example. I'm the alpha for her despite my dad's presence. It's b/c I'm the one that does most of the activities with her like feeding, training, exercise, etc... Also, I don't give in like my parents do when they start the "puppy eyes" attack.
I'm sure you will find a lot of good info on this site to help you with ideas for training.
Btw.. both look just adorable!
