My own breeder is definitely reputable & I have a one year guarantee against congenital defects. That being said, I have no doubt that if my pup develops some type of health issue sometime after her one year birthday, that my breeder would work with me. I'm sure that breeders handle that type of thing on an individual basis. Also, as her client, it is my responsibilty to make her aware of any health issues at anytime during my pup's lifetime. This way, she can reevaluate her breeding program.
