 2nd X ray found hairline fracture in Tibula
Very small hairline fracture in Tibula was found. Darn! Vet recommended that pins or screws not be used because they could harm the growth plate and stunt growth in that leg. She is only 6 months old. We will get another Xray in 1 week to see how it is healing. If issues, then we might need to reevaluate. I've always really liked my vet in the past and she has taken good care of my dogs so I'm going to trust her on this.
Gemma is doing remarkably well. Getting by on 3 legs and being her happy, although not bouncy, self. |
