Honestly, even though Ellie has an angry liver her GI tract and pancreas demand ttention even more. Liver is fine with it.
She wrote the first Rx for his hepatic food for the RC version but as it's always made him itch terribly, I asked if we could go with Hill's and that's what we did. He's eaten RC GI twice but each time it made him itch badly within minutes. We wasted a whole brand new big bag of it and even tried using the kibbles for treats once I saw he couldn't tolerate a meal's worth at once but just one or two kibbles caused some itching so we gave the bag away.
