I just checked his gums. Nicely firm and pink and rebound instantly. Skin on his back won't hold together at all. I've been very mindful of getting fluid into him and kept syringing water, sugar water and Pedialyte into him since yesterday despite his keeping drinking until this afternoon.
However, at 8:30 pm he awoke, I game him 4 ml. sugar water and he demanded some treats. I got him some softened Hill's I/D GI kibble and gave him 5 pieces in a row which he readily ate. Then he wanted more and scared to feed him more pieces of kibble, I gave him the rest of his kibble soup which was 5 pieces of kibble soaked and mashed with a lot of water and a tad of sugar in it. He drank all of it before I knew what the was doing! Now am scared he's going to get nauseated so I'm watching him with the Cerenia at hand and also fearful of all this food intake starting his diarrhea back. His last stool was that large loose one on the couch comforter at 4: 25 pm! Will be keeping a close eye on him the next hours!
