The first thing I noticed was NO ODOR and had to feel to see if they were even wet, incredible. I put them in the washer last night and put the pooch pads from Petco down, the first thing I noticed (less than 12 hours later) was the "pissy smell" when I got up! I really hate that smell. I went to the washer took the T.Bumpkins out and layed them in their boxes slightly damp...
The point is when I had the T.Bumpkins down I never smelled or noticed the pads...I pick up poop as we go along but to not have to worry about the peepads is wonderful!!!
I just placed a "full order" to add to the 3 I ordered to try out! I am thrilled, happy about the no smell, happy about not worrying about running out of disposables, and especially happy that I won't be spending over $100 dollars per month on them!
I am so happy that I found YT and all the threads about these washables, I so turned my nose up to it before, but this new pup has wore me out with pad changing!!! |

The thing about the odor is SO TRUE!! I have a bunch of T.Bumpkins & I thought I'd be clever and get some ugly washables on Ebay to throw into my rotation. They stink!!! I NEVER had that issue with the T.Bumpkins. I ended up throwing out the Ebay washables just yesterday. I'll be ordering some larger pads from Cathy soon since I now have 3 & the standard size is a little small for us.
I really do LOVE my T.Bumpkins pads. Aside from being absolutely gorgeous, they're waaay better than any disposable. I'm still impressed with how well they're made. I trained mine to use the pads by putting a washable under a disposable & letting a little of the washable peek out more and more everyday. It took less than a week. Now they go on washables and/or disposables. I wash them in unscented detergent & add some baking soda so the pups can still smell their old wee wee...but I def can't smell anything. I don't have a problem with them mistaking throw rugs for pads. At all.
Sorry for the long post. But I never thought I'd get so excited about a wee wee pad.

Highly recommended.
