I wasn't about to take any chances on one that tiny having pups. I would think an emergency spay could still be done before she gets much further along.
These intact, in heat females were obviously left unsupervised and unobserved while in the presence of an intact male, however they managed to "get together". I have experienced males, and it still takes a minute or two for them to get mounted and tied. If the dogs were being watched as astutely as any female in heat being around an intact male should have been, this could have been stopped. These girls should have been crated, or the male should have been crated ESPECIALLY after the initial "mistake" of the male getting let out and breeding his mom. That little maiden certainly did not know what was happening and I do not think a male could have rushed her, mounted her and got her bred before someone could have intervened. Now if the dogs were being allowed to run and play together, unsupervised, sure.....not at all out of the question.....but SURELY, in heat females were not allowed to run with an intact male simply because they all "love to play together"?????? I hear about them accidnetally getting put together.....I guess I just am incapable of getting my mind around this situation ever taking place at all, let alone happening twice during the same visit. I am sorry..... Someone in that house wanted those two females bred. OP needs to address that issue.
