I think yorkies are hypocrites. At least mine are. It's perfectly fine for them to perform their bodily functions. But if a human does it, they act disgusted. Mine always follow me into the bathroom and then during the business, I get odd stares. Maybe they are confused as to why I am doing this in the house.

If I put shoes/slippers on, King Vincenzo goes stark raving mad, turning in circles and barking until I remove them. I now keep them in my car and leave a pair of flipflops by the door to wear out to the car, this is going to suck in the snowy winter...

What's the deal with yorkies and shoes??? Every time we put ours on, Barney whines and hides under the couch or bed. We have to spell out shoes when we are getting ready. My husband and I try to outsmart him. Unfortunately for Barney he has two dumb people. One of us tries to distract him while the other puts on shoes. It rarely works, but we keep on trying. Leaving them in the car is a great idea.
