Don't ever go to that vet again, his response was 100% wrong. Go see another vet now, not sure if they can do an emergency spay now...but your going to need this vet for when she delivers. Your pup is at a very, very, very high risk.
Others will be along...gosh, I'm really dumbfounded here....Please do find a decent vet asap.
