We're having some similar problems with our Yorkie Toby. Seems as though they have the attitude that they are masters. He acts as though he runs our house. He snaps at us in our faces if we don't pay attention to him. He does not listen, and when we tell him no he will go back a do it again even after we have given him a time out in the kennel.
We've had him since he was 6 weeks and he is almost 8 months now. We definitely don't want to give him away but were just at a dead end on what do about this behavior.
