You should use a small trimmer type clipper and always shave away from the head. Also instead of tape you can cut the bottom heavy part of a paper sack or a piece of card stock in the shape of the ear and glue it in with eyelash glue to the inside of the ear. For the one we used this on (my SIL pup) it didn't seem to bother her as bad as the tape. Either way with that method or tape sometimes you have to redo it a couple times a day until they get used to it being there. |
