Jasmine, when she goes to bed at night (with us) she always scratches on my leg.....that is her signal telling it is time for me to put her blanket over her. If I put her blanket on her before she tells me to, she will just get up and walk out from under it. I always have to wait until Jasmine scratches on my leg "telling" me, "hey, it's time for my blanket now". Then she goes straight to sleep. She cracks me up!
