Oh my goodness, that poor baby. It looks bad and that open wound looks even worse. I really hope that you can find something that will work for him. Maybe you could find some sort of leave in oil treatment or something used for smoothing rough skin. I wonder if that would work for him.
Have you tried using a flea comb to rid him of some of the build up and flaking?
Does it itch ?
