I was furious for the person who had to suffer this foolish judge. There are leash ordinances in the person's area, so the judge was not upholding the law. I live in "big dog country," so I know the bias all too well. Small dog people tend to keep their dogs inside.
I have had so many encounters with off leash dogs and their humans yelling, "He won't bite!" How do they know? Regardless of whether they bite, I don't want a Great Dane/Cane Corso mix jumping on my back (yes, that happened).
