Exclamation A List Of Toxic Plants And Foods

Here is a list of toxic plants and foods put together by The American Animal Hospital Association. This list was given to me by my vet the first time I brought Gracie in.
The following items can cause a wide range of complications from an upset stomach, to liver and kidney disease, to death. These items can affect diffrent species in diffrent ways, but all can potentially affect all animals, dogs, cats, birds, horses, even cattle.
Please be advised, this is only a small list, there are thousands of other chemical compounds found in the home that can be fatal to animals (example: antifreeze, rat poison...).

There is also a NATIONWIDE POISON CONTROLL HOTLINE provided by the SPCA
1-888-426-4435 it is available 24 hours a day
