Is there any study about whether or not pre-administration of Benadryl has any adverse effect on the efficacy of vaccinations?
I ask because there are some human studies that suggest dampening the immune response (in people cases, fever) in children may decrease the effectiveness of the vaccines and as a result many pediatricians are recommending that kids not be given Tylenol until their fever reaches greater than 38.5 C.
