Sounds like personality to me. My pomeranian Ted was just like that. Although whenever I fostered kittens Ted suddenly became more affectionate and would come sleep and hangout in the bed with me and whatever kitty I fostered. He wasn't never too toy driven, and though he had some favortie treats he wasn't driven by them either. Ted would stare out the window, and when we'd be in the yard after about 15 min he'd just stare at the door to get back in the house, lol. He only really got excited for new people and just being at the dog park.
