Here is what my vet said. Some of her clients *always* give Benadryl 45min-1 hour prior to any vaccines - and in her 25 years as a vet, she has never, ever had an animal who had benadryl react to a vaccine. So if you're really worried, maybe give Benadryl to help alleviate that fear. |
I concur. Lots of added expense to separate them and three pokes for the pup which is unneccessary.
Pup came in a few months ago. Was premeded with Benadryl. Still reacted (but had history of reacting).
You can ask about giving it orally beforehand. Would save $$$ if you want to give it.
