We have a camp at the lake up north, since it's a seasonal camp, they do Halloween Trick or Treating for the kids in August and Christmas in Sept. This past weekend I was sitting in a chair with my boys on the ground at my feet on a leash. The kids would come up and take candy from the bowl I had. Well the kids that did not have masks on were fine to Fletch, but the ones that had masks .. oh boy... he went MENTAL. Barking right in their face and lunging at them! Scared some kids pretty badly.
NO bites or anything. I was horrified though. ALL the parents were so good about it and I explained to the kids that he is scared of their mask and protecting his mommy. Once the kid took off their mask and pet him he was all happy and wagging and fine with them. I felt so bad for him and for the kids though!
