A note of caution: dogs require a delicate balance of nutrients. Too much or too little of some nutrients can wreak havoc on their systems, namely their kidneys and liver.
Many people here who homecook use a supplement called "Balance It". A recipe from a board certified nutritionist is also advised. Recipes can be obtained online for a minimal cost.
I would also advise against ham. Very fatty and salty and could contribute to pancreatitis, a very serious and potentially fatal condition.
