Make sure you use a flea product that contains a growth inhibitor. You can bathe them with Dawn dishwashing liquid for a quick knock down of fleas. You can use table salt on any carpeting... it will dehydrate the fleas and you vacuum them up in the morning. You can use Diatomaceous Earth from the health food store, on the house, yard, the dog and puppy, and the cat.
Be extremely careful using any combination of toxic sprays and or treatments. They can kill a dog or a cat. I use only treatments I buy from my vet. It's a little more expensive but well worth the peace of mind. |
