Because I live in a house with lots of stairs and stair cases, one good thing to have in place is a way to close off those stair cases! I use Xpens, but babygates can be effective too. THis is above and beyond a playpen you will use for your puppy.

This is for when you take your puppy out of their crate/playpen and want them to exercise a bit more freely but still safely. Look around your house to see what you would need to close off.
