They didn't cover the hypoglycemia because seh was treated for it before I got the policy in effect. The Liver Shunt is congenital so I'm sure they won't cover that either. I hope to get a couple hundred dollars back out of 1500 because 1 of her 4 visits in the same week was for vomiting and diahrrea. I would definately advise to get the policy effective the day you bring her home. I was just waiting for her birthdate to finish her application and the day or so after I got her I had to take her to the er vet at night for hypoglycemia. It's kind of ironic I worked in health insurance for 33 years you think I would have been smarter!
