so i tookl my male to see the female and he was very interested, as a first timer with this stuff i thought it was usual that he didnt mount her. she was flagging her tail and backing into him but the first and second time all he did was sniff and lick her. after a while i took him hime and he cried the entire way. maybe hes not interested. shes into her 2nd week of season according to the owners and both dogs are same breed size and around same age.
can anyone please tell me what i am doing wrong and please, be nice thankyou in advance ill take everything into consideration. |
Did you get his BAT's tested? How's his knees? BTW, getting 'health tested' by a vet means little to nothing. They have no way of knowing what the dog's gene carries. You need to know their lines, some reputable breeders knows the lines for many generations back. Pairing w/any female can be very dangerous bc if both parents carry a recessive gene, they'll pass it on to their offspring. That's great that you're getting together w/a mentor, hope she has the knowledge to guide you. Best of luck to you & your little man.
