This is how dogs react if another dog is trying to assert themselves. Often you hear people say after they bring a puppy home that is starting to bite the older animals that it takes a few times and then finally their older animals have enough and swat and nip at the puppy hard enough to make the puppy think twice about doing it again. LOL I think where that expression nip it in the bud comes from Of course I am no dog whisper but I do believe and have read this as well that we need to think more like a dog and their natural behaviors when trying to discipline bad behavior. It's not like we can sit there and explain that this is bad and why it is bad and so forth. Good luck because sounds like you have to watch TV on pins and needles |
Thanks so much for the advice. I am going to try the paper thing...THIS HAS TO STOP! I think this is the only time I see any part of his personality that makes me angry with him. (That nd chasing and barking at the cats that is).
