Yeah that's why I was confused. There are two types of heating elements on the Electrolux. The induction I suppose is the one that boils water in a few seconds. The other one you can use regular cookware on it. We have electric now, and the induction is supposed to be just as responsive as gas. Our kitchen it not set up for gas.
