He said his parents would put some in the couch to kill off the fleas. I guess it's like a home remedy. Maybe you could put some under the cushion of his bed? Thought I'd just throw this out there. DO NOT use Eucalyptus at all.
Eucalyptus is poisonous to dogs, cats and horses. The signs of toxicity include heavy salivation, vomiting, diarrhea and weakness.
