Purina Pro Plan contains corn I am sure, look at the bag. I think most of Purina foods do contain corn. Corn and wheat are both not good in dog food, they have trouble digesting it and often have allergy/digestion issues.
Be careful with dog food especially for picky eaters. I often loaded with too much salt and sugar which does make it more desirable for the animal who will choose to eat it but definitely not a good choice. High protein food is often more palatablie but high protein especially for a toy dog is not good, too hard on kidneys and liver as is a high salt diet. High sugar or fat can affect the pancreas.
I am having pretty good luck with Natural Balance. You can perhaps try Sweet Potato and Bison or Sweet Potato and Fish or one of the others. The Natural Balance Ultra Small Bites seem to be fine with my bunch as well.
