I just got a yorkie on Saturday! My mom has a yorkie too, but she lives in another county so I only get the chance to speak to her on weekends. I named my yorkie Kiwi -- she is 3 months old and 2.2 pounds (but she is somewhat skinny).
The earliest date I could schedule an appointment with the vet is Friday. She has only had her FIRST series of shots (yes, I know). I could not refuse her at the seller/breeder though. I think she might even come from a puppy mill in Europe because she has a European microchip. But again, I could absolutely NOT refuse her.
She is very scared. She is OK in my presance, but soon as I leave she will start crying and shaking. I don't leave for long, 2 hours at most. Kiwi refuses to eat her puppy food (Purina Benefil Healthy Grow for Puppies). I now understand this is not the best brand. She loves real rice & chicken though. She is also sleepy. She sleeps most the day, God Forbid she has Hypoglycemia the poor thing. Would you recommend giving her some syrup?

Hi Dean29 and welcome to YT im glad you found us! There are many nice people on this board that can offer you great advice.
Did you buy your puppy in Europe?
Try not to switch to different foods as that can cause her tummy to get upset, get a good brand puppy kibble, you can add a bit of boiled water and let it cool down, then slowly get her used to eating her dry kibble.
