The OP said she was putting her pups before her mother. She has every right to do that , I guess. I'm just saying my morals are different. If my family member accidentally harmed my pet, I'm sure my family member would feel guilty as heck without me being 'kicking her out" at her on top of it. So, personally, I don't hold grudges.
