I am sorry for your loss of your dad, and that you are in this difficult position with your mom. Can you take charge of her medicine? Put it in a place where she can't find it and then give it to her as she needs it? Sounds like if she is dropping it on the floor, she probably needs supervision for her meds.
Are you home all day, or do you work outside your home? Is your mom home alone with your pups?
