I've had something similar happen to me. Called the cops and they wanted my name, phone number, address, etc. I told them that under no condition where they to come to my door that I absolutely was afraid of retaliation if this person knew it was me that called them. I had no intention of answering the door, if they did knock. I simply don't get the thoughtlessness of cops sometimes.
Absolutely, tell your neighbors - on all sides of you - about this. Ask them to be watchful and let them know you are home alone right now. I would also call the police ask to speak to the shift supervisor. Speak to a supervisor, not the person answering the phones. Tell him everything, tell him you are home alone right now and request that a patrol car drive by frequently for the next couple of weeks. I'd also want to know if the man was in jail or free. |
