Yes, difficult but not impossible.
What if Chibi were to develop a similar problem? Molli would have to learn how to behave around him and you would constantly need to be on high alter. Same difference.
It will take dedication and it will get old, but there is no reason to decide against it if you're up for it.
All owners of multiple dogs need to be willing to crate (or xpen) and rotate if needed..
