I found that too when I got two Jack Russell puppies in 1990
Housetraining was easy, no separation anxiety issue and they chewed each other instead of the house
The only 'damage' was when I stupidly left their collars on overnight and they were snuggled up next to each other in front of the fire and chewed through each other's collars!
