She is doing well now but it was a long and difficult road. In the middle of winter we had to get her to use the leg and she did just that but she preferred the snow outside to put her leg down on. Had to take Saffie out and away from Pixie so she could rest. They certainly didn't know what was happening. I think because they are rescues and then having surgery and UTI's Pixie is trusting us more and more now. She is such a delight and I love both of them! |
Aww, so glad to hear she's doing well now! This will be the first time we're doing the surgery with 2 dogs in the house, so I got a separate ex-pen for Pickles and will keep him in a different room in it so he doesn't try to play with P-Nut in the beginning. They are very special loves!
