Coconut oil, is great for dogs with skin conditions take it orally and also rub on infected area.
My puppy last year had developed a yeast infection that also caused him to lose all his hair on face, legs, ears and tail that it looked like a rat tail, he contracted this because he had been on antibiotics for to long because a respiratory infection. My vet wanted to renew his prescription for more antibiotics and I told her no give me two weeks. To try a raw Diet, along with coconut oil supplement orally and rubbed on him, no carb, no sugar diet along with bee pollen supplement.
The reason the yeast was getting so bad because his breeder had him on a kibble that had pumpkin and sweet potato and when broken down by body it's to sugar and yeast feeds on sugar. Within days he started to have more energy and started to get peach fuzz and also cough finally went away when we returned back to vet 2 weeks later, vet was in awe of his recovery, she said she never really had anyone feed raw and whole organic holistic diet, but would definitely recommend it to other clients having similar issues as an alternative.
Today he is a year old and has beautiful long silky hair and no one would ever believe he had lost all his hair as a Puppy.
