Just say ever so sweetly, while he and I would love to have him fussed over, until he has all his shots I was told to avoid a lot of contact with other pups and humans. Most people that have had dogs are familiar with this so they should understand. After that if you are training, just say at the moment I am working on his basic commands so I don't want him distracted, but other than that enjoy the fact that your pup will be getting lots of attention from strangers.
